Married: Year One

Last year today, Lhiza and I got married!

That was FAST. We’ve barely gone through our wedding pictures, and we just sent our song selections for the video. We haven’t even finished our honeymoon posts, let alone write about the past year! Still, here are a total of 12 photos for the 12 months since our wedding ceremony.

Today we decided to stay in Manila. We even went to work! Lhiza had some important meetings to run today, and so I figured I’d go ahead and give a talk. The real title of the talk was “7 things to remember this 7th of November”, and I was able to sneak this in:

Mission accomplished. Also, the audience really liked this part!

An interesting thing with having your anniversary in November is that it is very close to December, and scheduling trips in both months is too much. As a recap: we went to South Korea in 2011 and 2012, and Hong Kong and Macau in 2014. We stayed in Manila in 2013, which was the year I proposed.

I definitely prefer to be out of Manila in December, which is what happened with our honeymoon, and so that is what we will do going forward.

So tonight, a nice, quiet dinner. To look back at the past year, and the 2 years of preparation that ended with a kiss:
