Honeymoon!
Three weeks ago, Lhiza and I flew to Tokyo for our official honeymoon!
Getting married on a November meant that December was a few weeks away, so we decided to wait a few weeks to have a longer honeymoon. We dedicated two weeks, and figured out our itinerary as we went along.
We actually had tickets to a new and faraway place, but realized a few months before our wedding that we did not have enough bandwidth to plan the honeymoon at the same time as the wedding. We decided to rebook our tickets and head to Tokyo instead, as we were more familiar with it, buying us time to better prepare for the new and faraway place in the future.
I actually wanted one big post for the honeymoon. I‘ve spent a few days on this story and I just passed the halfway point. Lhiza suggested I just break down the post on a per day basis, so here we are now:
- Day 1: Flight to Tokyo
- Day 2: Apple Store Omotesando, Sukiyabashi Jiro Roppongi, and Roppongi Hills
- Day 3: Ginza and Café de l’Ambre
- Day 4: Moving to Ikebukuro
- Day 5: Christmas Eve
- Day 6: Tokyo Midtown and Dinner with Odd-e Japan
- Day 7: Akihabara
- Day 8: Asakusa, Tokyo Station, and Tapas Molecular Bar!
- Day 9: Japanese Soba Noodles Tsuta
- Day 10: Omotesando Koffee and Shinjuku
- Day 11: Harajuku
- Day 12: New Year’s Eve
- Day 13: New Year’s Day
- Day 14: Heading Home
